About me
Los Angeles 1986
In the restless, shimmering summer of 1986, my wife and I arrived in Los Angeles with two small children and a dream so fragile we dared not speak it aloud.
Life, however, has a way of weaving miracles when one least expects them. Two more children joined our story, and the six of us weathered the changing tides of time.
We moved from place to place, searching for the place where dreams root and grow, and we found it in South Gate — a neighborhood stitched with hopes like our own.
Los Angeles, vast and wild, welcomed us with open arms, giving us the soil to plant ourselves and thrive. Two children now wear the white coats of medicine; another drafts futures as an architect; another peers at the shape of the world through geography and technology.
And as time, patient and inevitable, moved forward, the children found their own paths and homes, and my wife and I found ourselves together again — just as we had begun — grateful for the journey, proud of the family we built.
We are proud and humbled to be citizens of this bright, tumultuous land that has given us so much.
Today, we open our business — Bug Sheriff Pest Control — with the same hope that brought us here so many years ago.
We would be honored if you chose to be part of our story.
